Digital skills workshops for senior groups
The responsible organisation first discusses the participants, goals, safety, room, attendance support, and equipment. Workshops take place in the participants’ familiar environment with responsible staff or carers nearby. Topics can include ordinary computer skills, privacy, personal projects, scam recognition, and why unsolicited remote access should be refused. Individual questions can be discussed during or after the group session under the host organisation’s oversight. This is not advertised as remote access, an unsolicited home visit, or a one-to-one consumer support service.
